La Ferme de Sourrou

The objective of the Sourrou farm is to practice and experiment with permaculture while building a house that is partly energy self-sufficient, in order to live more sustainably

The farm is registered with the MSA (Mutualité sociale agricole) and our principal income is from the sale of Mohair products from our Angora goats and from the sale of lamb from our herd of sheep. We believe that as well as being capable of producing for our own needs, it is important to produce a surplus and contribute to the health and well-being of our farmer neighbours.In the farm of 38 hectares we have built a passive solar house which is autonomous in its energy requirements.
