La Gran Vista Agroecological Farm Costa Rica

🌱 Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Pérez Zeledón, Costa Rica, with views of Mount Chirripó and El Valle de General, La Gran Vista Agricultural Ecological Farm is a non-profit project founded in 2001 to promote sustainable agroecological practices. 🌍 Serving as a model for farmers, students, and visitors, the farm demonstrates soil conservation, reforestation with native trees, pasture rehabilitation, organic gardening, vermiculture, composting, and the cultivation of medicinal plants. 🐓🐟🌿 It also integrates greenhouses, free-range poultry, a fish pond, a butterfly house, and fruit tree planting, while encouraging knowledge-sharing with local communities and schools. More than a farm, La Gran Vista is a living classroom where ecology, culture, and community come together to inspire resilience and care for the planet. 🌳💧🦋
