The Agroecology Map proudly participated in the X Congresso Brasileiro de Agroecologia (CBA), held in Brasília, a landmark event bringing together researchers, farmers, students, and practitioners dedicated to advancing agroecological practices across the country. As a grassroots platform created in 2017 by a collective of independent volunteers, the Agroecology Map showcased its mission of connecting agroecological initiatives, promoting knowledge exchange, and fostering collaboration within this vibrant movement. The platform’s interactive booth provided attendees with hands-on demonstrations of its mapping tools, highlighting real-world examples of agroecological networks in action, while engaging with participants to expand and refine its growing database.

The event was a vital opportunity to amplify the voices of diverse stakeholders in the agroecological community and strengthen partnerships. By participating in the CBA, the Agroecology Map reaffirmed its commitment to supporting sustainable food systems and ecological resilience in Brazil and beyond.
