Descripción breve del lugar y las prácticas

Agroecological foods grown using the techniques of Syntropic Agriculture. Located in Cravinhos, São Paulo, Santa Fé Farm was born from the vision of two friends who, in 2016, came together with a shared idea: to establish a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) initiative. They began spreading this project among their closest friends, creating a network of people committed to fostering sustainable and local food systems. Today, their CSA has grown to include over 80 shares of agroecological and biodynamic foods, directly connecting producers and consumers in a model that values community and environmental stewardship.

Santa Fé Farm is a prime example of how syntropic agriculture, combined with the CSA model, can transform food production into a regenerative practice. Using agroforestry principles, the farm mimics natural ecosystems by cultivating diverse plant species in harmony, ensuring soil regeneration and long-term productivity. This method not only enhances biodiversity but also creates resilient systems capable of withstanding climate challenges. Members of the CSA receive a weekly basket filled with seasonal produce, all grown without synthetic chemicals and with practices that actively improve the health of the land.

By integrating agroforestry and CSA, Santa Fé Farm demonstrates the potential of sustainable farming to reconnect people with their food and the land. The CSA model fosters a sense of shared responsibility between farmers and consumers, with members contributing financially to the farm's operations and receiving a share of the harvest in return. Meanwhile, the use of syntropic techniques ensures that the farm is not only producing high-quality food but also regenerating the ecosystem in the process. This initiative serves as an inspiring blueprint for communities looking to adopt agroecological and regenerative practices in their local contexts.

¿Qué sueñas para el futuro de la granja o del lugar en general?

At Santa Fé Farm, the dream for a more sustainable future goes beyond just providing food; it envisions a thriving community deeply connected to the land and committed to regenerative practices. The founders aspire to expand their agroforestry systems, creating a living example of how nature and agriculture can coexist harmoniously. They hope to inspire others to embrace the CSA model, fostering a culture of collaboration where consumers and producers work together to heal the planet. By prioritizing biodiversity, soil regeneration, and community engagement, their ultimate goal is to create a ripple effect, encouraging more farms and families to adopt sustainable practices that ensure food security, ecological balance, and a healthier planet for future generations.
