Summary description

The group harvests an average of 4,000 (four thousand) kilograms of pequi per season, of which 2,500 (two thousand five hundred) kilograms are processed, and 1,500 kilograms are sold fresh. Baru nuts are the second most important product, with an annual production of 800 kilograms. The nuts are sold roasted or ground and used in the preparation of bread, cakes, sweets, and other products.

Jatobá flour, with an annual production of 200 kilograms, is used to make bread, cookies, and biscuits, which are sold at local markets. From mangaba fruit, the pulp is extracted and sold frozen, while juice is also prepared and sold at the market. This year, mangaba production reached 200 kilograms.
