Agrofloresta na Fazenda Santa Clara

Agrofloresta na Fazenda Santa Clara

Summary description

A 1,000-square-meter project integrates native species, commercial crops, fruit trees, and annual plants.

The agroforestry system is strategically located within the recharge zone of Vereda do Sapo, a tributary of the Meia Ponte River—one of Brazil's most polluted rivers. By restoring this critical area, the project contributes to protecting water resources and promoting ecological balance.

In November 2023, the next phase of the agroforestry system will be implemented, further expanding its impact on environmental regeneration and sustainable land use.
