Who We Are
The Familia Orgânica is a family-led venture dedicated to agroecological production, focusing on organic, syntropic, and agroforestry practices. Located at their officially named farm, Nhande Kera Yvoty ("our dream blossomed," in Tupi Guarani), they cultivate and market over a hundred products in their local city and surrounding areas, collaborating closely with other agroecological producers. Their mission transcends agriculture, incorporating education, health, and sustainability initiatives that integrate environmental awareness, ecogastronomy, and therapeutic experiences.

Our Work and Partnerships
The Familia Orgânica actively contributes to community development by engaging in education programs, hosting immersive workshops, and supporting human development projects. Based in Piracaia, their work spans environmental education, agroecological tourism, therapeutic experiences, and sustainability training. Previously part of the Paineiras de Piracaia Social Control Organization (OCS) until 2023, they now collaborate with the Piracaia Organic Association and the Piracaia Rural Producers Association. On a broader scale, they support national and international initiatives such as the Instituto Brasil Orgânico and the Intercontinental Network of Organic Farmers (INOFO), under the umbrella of the IFOAM World Movement.

A Journey Rooted in Purpose
The Familia Orgânica emerged from the personal dreams of its founders, Pupin and Alejandra, who envisioned a life connected to nature. In 2005, they decided not to wait for a distant future and began searching for their ideal rural space. By January 2006, they unexpectedly settled at Fazenda Santa Fé in Campinas, marking the beginning of their transformative journey. The transition deepened their understanding of sustainable living and shaped the foundations of their enterprise, which officially started with the sale of a single bunch of chicory on June 26, 2006. This first step sparked a broader vision: to build a community-centered initiative that embodies integrity and shared purpose.

A Growing Network of Agroecological Advocates
What began as a family’s dream has blossomed into a thriving network of producers and supporters. Over the years, friends, clients, and partners have played vital roles in nurturing the venture, some remaining steadfast allies since its inception. Despite the challenges of time, effort, and resources, the Familia Orgânica continues to cultivate partnerships with like-minded rural producers who embrace Natural, Syntropic, and Biodynamic Agriculture principles. Together, they are fostering a resilient and sustainable community dedicated to agroecology.

The Familia Orgânica dreams of a world where people live in harmony with nature, fostering regenerative practices that heal the planet and nourish communities. Their vision goes beyond producing agroecological goods; they aim to inspire a deeper understanding of sustainable living, reconnecting people with the land and the cycles of life. Through education, partnerships, and hands-on experiences, they hope to create spaces where individuals and organizations can grow together, embracing the principles of natural, syntropic, and biodynamic agriculture.
