Delaterre Permaculture Farm, founded by Miss D. and Farmer Breaux, is a thriving 14-acre agroecological homestead located in Eros, Louisiana 🌱. Donna grew up in rural Portland, Jamaica, surrounded by a rich environment of animals and perennial fruits and vegetables, while Waylon was raised in Louisiana with backyard gardens and small livestock 🐓🐖. Together, their diverse backgrounds in sustainable farming laid the foundation for a shared vision: to create a farm that honors nature’s rhythms and supports healthy, regenerative food systems.

Since purchasing the land in 2019, Delaterre Permaculture Farm has embraced natural, regenerative practices that build and enrich the soil without the use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides 🚫🧪. By focusing on soil health and biodiversity, they grow wholesome, nutrient-dense crops that not only taste great but also serve as natural medicine for the body 🌿🥕. Their commitment to permaculture principles creates a resilient and sustainable ecosystem that benefits both the land and the community.

Beyond food production, Delaterre aims to inspire and educate others about the power of agroecology and regenerative agriculture 🌾📚.
